Have your party ready to come aboard the S/V Pomaika’i because we cast lines at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm daily. We may sail south down the western shore of the Outer Banks past Kill Devil Hills, and Colington Island. We may head north to the bridge and watch all the folks coming to the island watching us. Or, maybe we’ll head west into the open waters of Albemarle Sound. Either way we’ll have soft drinks and lite snacks included along with great music, stories, wildlife and fun. The sound of the bow wave and the silence of the air filling the sails and pushing us along are some of the wonders you get to experience. If you want to work the boat with us that’s great, if you just want to relax then that’s fine to. We want your trip to be just right for you. Many times we get to enjoy the company of dolphins, turtles, pelicans and more. With only 6 passengers on board there’s plenty of space to kick back and relax. Whether you come alone, as a couple, or as a group the experience on this sailing adventure is warm, friendly, and personal. If you’ve got special music, bring it along, you can hear it like never before on our on-board stereo. What ever you do don’t forget your camera because the photo opportunities will be there for you every moment along the way.
